In May 2000, the Fannie Mae Foundation announced the Round Twelve Maxwell Awards of Excellence awardees.
Awards for Round Twelve of the Maxwell Awards totaled $363,000 in grants to 44 nonprofit organizations. The top six awardees each received a $35,000 grant.
