Putting All the Pieces Together: Local Strategies to Strengthen Regions
Regional councils can provide planning services, policy guidance, technical assistance, and other support to help local jurisdictions work together to make the best long-term choices for their entire region. This article focuses on the efforts of two regional councils — the Sacramento Area Council of Governments and the Mid-America Regional Council — to show how it's done.
